Our Project
The Poverty Line Game is an educational project created by Project Group 1 on Measure of Poverty for the class ECON 11N: Understanding the Welfare System at Stanford at Stanford. Our goal is to help players understand the complexities of poverty measures and their impact on social policies.
Our Team
We are a group of Stanford students passionate about economics, social policy, and education. Our team consists of Karina Thiagarajan, Anya Parasher and Krystine Vuong.
Project Goals
- Educate players about different poverty measures
- Highlight the complexities of defining and measuring poverty
